The "Le Venezie International Watercolor Festival" is a global event of watercolor art jointly initiated by the Shanghai International Cultural Exchange Association and Sheng Xinyu Art (China) between China and Foreign Countries, with the collaboration of the Italian Art Exchange Association. In 2024 and 2023 editions, the “Le Venezie International Watercolor Festival” established branches in Italy, the United States, and China, and successfully held exhibitions of selected and award-winning works at the Palazzo dei Trecento in Treviso, Italy, and the Art Museum of Morehead University in Kentucky, USA, attracting widespread attention from watercolor art enthusiasts worldwide. According to statistics from the organizing committee, artists and enthusiasts from more than twenty countries participated, including the United States, Italy, France, Spain, Belgium, Ireland, Russia, Serbia, the Czech Republic, Moldova, Australia, New Zealand, Turkey, Algeria, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, and others.

Celebrating Turner's 250th Anniversary 3rd Le Venezie International Watercolor Festival In 2025, the 3rd Le Venezie International Watercolor Festival honors the 250th birth anniversary of J.M.W. Turner (1775–1851), the British Romantic master known as the "painter of light." Co-organized by the Independent Turner Society (UK), the Italian Cultural and Art Association, and Shengxinyu Art (China), the festival invites watercolor artists, enthusiasts, and art students worldwide to participate. Turner ’ s three visits to Venice (1819, 1833, 1840) inspired masterpieces like Dogana and San Giorgio Maggiore and Approaching Venice , where he captured the city's ethereal light and atmosphere. His bold use of color and light influenced Impressionism and modern art, earning him the title "Father of Modern Art" from critic John Ruskin.
